If you are wise and understand God's ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13

"Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal and are greater fools for it. There is no fool so great as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom." Charles Spurgeon.

Heavenly Father, one cannot have wisdom without first acquiring knowledge and the process of gaining knowledge beings with knowing (fearing) You. By acknowledging Your authority we open ourselves to Your truth. It is the beginning of wisdom because it is the beginning of true knowledge.

Father may I have a deep sense of awe of You which draws me to You where I may acquire true knowledge and wisdom. May I show I have acquired it by living it. May my life be a living witness of what Godly wisdom looks like. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, help the abundance of my heart be true wisdom. I pray in Jesus name. AMEN AMEN
