Have you ever heard something so amazing that you never grow weary of hearing it over and over again?

In Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them... For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:19, 21

At the core of the good news of the gospel is what has often been called the "great exchange" or "Imputation." God has credited our sin to Christ's account so that He is held responsible for our rebellion; His righteousness is credited to our account so that we graciously receive His righteous status. He takes our sin; He gives us His righteousness. This shocking transfer lies at the heart of the Christian faith. Because of this exchange, believers are reconciled to God and made a new creation in Christ. This gospel truth empowers us to serve others with the message of Christ in the hope that they might be reconciled to God.

While some would contend than when it comes to salvation we don't have a choice in the matter, 2 Corinthians 5:20 sheds light on that thought. "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We emplore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." God makes His divine appeal through us. We are ambassadors for Christ.

Having been beneficiaries of the "great exchange" ourselves, we are ambassadors for Christ. Those who make the most lasting impact on others are those whose passion and zeal are so evident that it is attractive to others.

Heavenly Father I never grow weary of hearing how You have credited my sin to Christ's account and held Him responsible for my rebellion, while giving me His righteous status. Who does that? God! Amazing love how can it be let thou my God shouldst die for me? AMEN AMEN
