Journal entry March 5, 2026

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we also have access by faith in to this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

Therefore having been declared innocent, with great confidence we have prosperity with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore we have been granted admission, with confidence into this graciousness in which we stand. We glorify in the expectation we have in the glory of God.

Wow Heavenly Father that is so much to unpack. Declared innocent on what basis? That I was not guilty? No! On the basis of Jesus Christ who took my guilt and condemnation! Therefore I have been granted admission with confidence into this graciousness in which I stand. With a complete declaration of my innocence I glorify Christ and the expectation I have in the glory of God.

Amazing Love, how can it be? That thou my God shouldst die for me.

Heavenly Father I thank you so much for Your amazing grace. Having been declared completely innocent solely on basis Christ's accomplished work on the cross, is more than I can wrap my head around. I can have complete confidence because of the completeness of Christ's offering for my sin. It wasn't a partial payment, it was complete. The grace in which I now stand is complete. Oh to basque in the sunshine of Your grace. Thank you Jesus! AMEN AMEN.
