Journal entry March 17, 2026

Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it: I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you. Isaiah 42:5-6

Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it... Father, You give man breath. You make him a living being. You give him spirit. You make him a spiritual being. We have been given the capacity to enjoy life on this earth and fellowship with You at the same time.

How often Father do we limit ourselves to enjoying life on this earth without enjoying spiritual life and fellowship with You. It is amazing that we have the capacity for both. Angels look on in amazement.

To be able to look at a mountain range, a beautiful sunrise or a beautiful sunset is a gift from You. To be able to directly talk to You and enjoy the moment with You is a special gift from You. Thank you that we are not like the beasts of the field, the birds of the air or the fish of the sea. We rule over them. We are created to have fellowship with you. Thank You for Jesus Christ through whom we have that fellowship.

I love the idea that we are redeemed from sin, bought at a price with fellowship restored. One with our Creator. Father may Jesus completely take over my mind, heart and soul today. May I not be alive with physical breath only, but spiritually alive. May I have a mind thirst, a heart thirst, and a spirit thirst, for the "Living water" of Christ today. May that living water "flow" from me today. I love You Lord. Make me a vessel of blessing today. For Your glory. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN
