Yet, now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault. Colossians 1:22

"But" you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don't drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the good news. 1:23

Heavenly Father, what strikes me is the "But" that follows what seems like the unbelievable declaration. That through the death of Christ and my faith in Him, I have been brought into Your presence and presented as holy and blameless, without a single fault.

"But" you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it implies there's going to be a concerted effort on the part of my enemy, to uproot this truth. To always make me feel less than good enough. The reality is I am not good enough, and the amazing truth is that I stand in Your presence holy and blameless without a single fault. That is simply amazing. Help me Lord to continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it.

What a game changer it is. It shows me not the depth of my short comings, but the power of the blood Jesus.

There is pow'r, pow'r, wonderworking pow'r in the blood of the lamb.

There is pow'r, pow'r, wonderworking pow'r in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Would you be free from your burden of sin?

Would you o'er evil a victory win?

Would you be free from your passion and pride?

Come for a cleansing to Calvary's tide,

Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?

Sin stains are lost in its life giving flow;

Would you do service for Jesus your King?

Would you live daily His praises to sing?

There's wonderful power in the blood!

AMEN AMEN
