When we are consumed with a passion for the person and purposes of Jesus Christ, neither life nor death can destroy our joy; both are opportunities to demonstrate that Jesus is our ultimate Treasure.

Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trust in the Lord. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, you upright in heart. Psalm 32:10-11

A Christians Joy is not blind, naïve, or in denial about the suffering in the world. It is a joy that finds its confidence in the fact that God's purposes will triumph in the end. Thank you Jesus!
