The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them. Psalm 25:14

Don't you just love how this verse sounds when you read it aloud? The idea, the reality, the truth, the principle that this sacred verse conveys. The Lord confides in those who are in a committed relationship with Him.

Think about the word confides. He speaks to His children what He does not tell others. Those who seek Him will be the recipients of His personal and private council. Imagine Him whispering in your ear what no one else can hear. Your mind comes alive with an understanding of what you did not understand before. Your next steps regarding a situation become evident and clear. A passage of scripture is suddenly understood. He is confiding in you.

When you confide in someone, you'll carefully whisper something to them to ensure your message is heard by no one else. It is a divine and inspiring thought to know that the Lord desires to share in confidence with those who are in relationship with Him. He desires to bless His children and to guide them while developing deeply personal connections with them!

In confidence, He will whisper to your heart what you need to know. As you gather to worship today, let this verse settle into your being. The God who created everything, is a personal guide to those who seek Him. Those who are in reverential all of Him. Those who are in a personal relationship through Jesus Christ His Son. The Lord confides in you...

Heavenly Father thank You that You are a personal God. This is such a special verse today. I love the idea, the reality, the truth of this verse. May my ears and heart be listening today. Thank You in Jesus name. AMEN AMEN.
