God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "say this to the people of Israel: 'I AM has sent me to you."' Exodus 3:14

I AM - the One who is completely and consistently Himself. He is: and it is because He is what He is, that everything else, is as it is. He is, is the reality behind all reality, the underlying cause of all causes, and all events. The name proclaimed Him as self-existent, sovereign, and holy, free from constraint by, or dependence on, anything outside Himself.

What were we made for, to know God.

What aim should we set for ourselves in life? To know God.

What is the eternal life that Jesus gives? Knowledge of God.

What is the best thing in life? Knowledge of God.

Many people spend their entire lives trying to find themselves. Discovering who they really are. Apart from God they never will. For we are souls in search of a Savior. Children in search of a Father we never had perhaps. Donut holes looking for our donut...

When one's focus shifts from "finding themselves", to finding God. From knowing self, to knowing God, there is a paradigm shift that will lead them to a level of fulfillment that will be fully realized one day.

While the quest for "finding self" is elusive and never ending, the quest for finding God is easy. His creation declares Him, His word reveals Him. His Holy Spirit draws one to Him. He invites all into His presence through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

While God has spoken in times past in various ways, today He has revealed Himself to us through His Son. Know the Son, know the Father. No Son, no Father.

Heavenly Father, the great I AM, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, we bow before You today thanking you Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. There's nothing mystical, there's nothing magical, simple faith is all we need. Thank you that You have made knowing You possible for all who want to. Thank You in Jesus name. AMEN AMEN
